We source only the best materials to ensure the durability of your boots and the safety of your feet. Below are the essential materials and technologies we use in the making of your OZAPATO’s.

COMPOSITE TOE

COMPOSITE TOE

We use exclusively ISO and ASTM certified toe. Composite toe is EH certified, lighter and more resistant than a steel toe.

FEATURES

Your OZAPATO has its stitching sealed to ensure waterproofing. As long as you maintain the leather oil your boot will stay waterproof even after long periods of wear and tear.

Your OZAPATO is equipped with a certified EH composite toe.

We use leather specifically designed to prevent your feet from gathering bacteria. Compare our boots to cheaper synthetic materials which can leave your smelling feet.

Our elastomer outsole are oil and slip resistant. They can be exposed to almost any surface and environment. If you work in a very specific industrial workplace and your needs are specific, contact us at usa@ozapato.com. We have solutions for all industries.

Our oiled leathers are naturally waterproof. Like with all leather-based products they need some TLC. Through some simple maintenance by keeping your shoes clean and oiled every week your OZAPATO’s will stay waterproof.

Your OZAPATO’s are equipped with a kevlar/textile anti-perforation plate. It can withstand up to 1800 N (Newton) of force. The minimum is 1100 N (Newton). Keeping your feet safe.

Your OZAPATO’s are EH ASTM 2413-11 certified. They will isolate you from a voltage up to 18 000 volts. If you are exposed to such high voltage, make sure the boots are in perfect condition and maintained.

OUTSOLE

Black elastomer sole, natural slip, and oil resistant. Can withstand a temperature up to 200  Fahrenheit (°F). 100% metal free and EH certified.

Natural elastomer sole, natural slip, and oil resistant. Can withstand a temperature up to 200  Fahrenheit (°F). 100% metal free and EH certified.

EH certifeid work boots

Brown elastomer sole, natural slip, and oil resistant. Can withstand a temperature up to 200  Fahrenheit (°F). 100% metal free and EH certified.

White elastomer sole, natural slip, and oil resistant. Can withstand a temperature up to 200  Fahrenheit (°F)

Black elastomer sole, natural slip, and oil resistant. Ideal for kitchen and hospital. We can lower or increase the density to compensate for the environment in which you operate.  100% metal free.

INSOLE & MIDSOLES

ASTM F2413-11 + CSA-Z195-14 + ISO 20344:2011 6.12 + UNE EN 12568:1998 certified kevlar plate. Lighter and safer than steel protection plate, our certified kevlar will protect you against any cuts and or perforation that might happen at work. Our kevlar plate can hold up to 1800 N ( Newton) while the minimum is 1100 N.

Ergonomic polyurethane insole. Help’s to keep your feet dry and comfortable whilst you are out walking.

Heat / Cold thermic insert. Prevent your feet from suffering from extreme temperatures.

LEATHERS

Leather tanning is crucial to ensure the quality of your boots. All our leathers are locally sourced and eco-friendly. What does it mean?  All the chemicals and water used to tan the leather are recycled and treated. The water is pumped from a local source, used, cleaned, treated, tested and brought back to where it comes from. The internet is full of documentaries exposing the toxicity of leather tanning. Our compromise is to have 0 impacts on the local ecosystem.
